For the past 25 years, Superintendent and Reverend Fraser Venter has served as lead pastor of Cucamonga Christian Fellowship (CCF), a multi-ethnic, multi-language, and multi-campus ministry in California. It has been a ministry that mirrored both his heritage and his core Kingdom values. His leadership has consistently sought to see the voiceless have a voice, the broken healed, systems corrected, and people loved into their deserved destiny in Christ.

On November 24, 2021, the Free Methodist Church USA (FMCUSA) announced that Rev. Venter will transition into a new chapter and a new season, joining the FMCUSA Executive Leadership Team (XLT) as the Strategic Catalyst for Love-Driven Justice. In his new role, Rev. Venter will work under the oversight of the Board of Bishops with justice-oriented leaders of networks, superintendents, annual conferences, and the denominational Board of Administration to catalyze the implementation of the Love-Driven Justice value throughout the FMCUSA. Partnering with these leaders and the XLT, he will advocate for a growing culture of awareness and action in our movement, resulting in greater inclusion of under-represented groups in ministry and leadership and actualizing the biblical value of justice in its many expressions.

Superintendent Venter will complete his term as joint Superintendent for the Free Methodist Church in Southern California (FMCSC) and will be transitioning out of the lead pastor role at CCF at Annual Conference 2022.

The FMCSC is excited to see the FMCUSA continue to invest in justice initiatives and build upon our heritage and call to bring freedom to the world through the Gospel of Christ.
